I was able to put up my Christmas decorations over Thanksgiving break. I am happy with how everything turned out, Here is a little tour of our house.
This is in our living room.
I made this table runner this year. The circle fabric is from Moda's line "Countdown to Christmas." It is the same fabric I used on my advent calendar.
Here is a picture of our skinny Christmas tree. This year I decided to do a Woodland Themed tree and made some felt owls and gnomes (see previous post for gnomes).
Here is a picture of my owl ornaments. These are available in my Etsy shop if you want a set of your own.
We also used some of our classic ornaments. This is the ornament that we got last year. It looks just like our puppy Leo.
This is the ornament we bought on our first anniversary when we went to Las Vegas. We try to get an ornament or a magnet from each place that we visit.
This is the darling ornament that my cousin Ashley made me as a hostess gift when she came to our house for Thanksgiving. She is very talented and has a cute Etsy shop. Check her out.
This is the embroidery pillow that I finally finished last year.
This is our fireplace. I put our Willow Tree nativity on the mantel.
I made this wreath for our front door. I was trying to use what I already had so I used a small grape vine wreath and made some fabric rosettes and used an ornament "M" that we got last year for Christmas.
I picked up this sled at a garage sale a few years ago and havent had a chance to use it yet since we were in Utah last Christmas. I was going to put it inside next to our tree but since we have a small living room it looked way too large so I decided to put it outside instead.
And there you have it. Merry Christmas! Only a few more weeks to go.
